Looking for a beautiful, calm and family friendly vacation destination, Karl fell upon the Dreams Las Mareas Resort in Guancaste, Costa Rica. As soon as our family got settled into the resort and started to learn more about the area and the local people, we were hooked!

Meet Your Hosts!

Karl and Wendy are a Canadian couple who fell instantly in love with Costa Rica and the Pura Vida lifestyle while on a family trip in 2019.

Karl has a special interest in videography and tourism within Costa Rica. He enjoys spending time in Canada as an actor in theatre and various Winnipeg film projects. Karl loves to meet new people and share his passion for the Pura Vida lifestyle.

Wendy is a certified yoga instructor, level III Integrated Energy Healer and works as a vision therapist in Winnipeg. She enjoys coaching and educating others in sports as well as vision therapy. She enjoys helping others find their passion and empowering them to reach for their potential in life.
